Hi again.
The speed hacker problem i had was fixed in latest build i see, now speed hackers seem to walk extremly slowly instead of hacking speed. All good.

However, it seems "speed-jump-hack" is possible, meaning the hacker jumps about 3-4 times per second, making them almost impossible to hit.

Is this something that can be fixed in a future detox build?

Bunny hopping you mean? If so, yup; I have an implementation already coded. Just needs to be thoroughly tested and then we'll make another update along with more language support.

P.S. If not, I haven't actually seen that before. PM me with more information.

Yea, maybe its bunny hopping, im not so familiar with hack names.

What i saw was basically a player jumping very fast, so bouncing up and down much much faster than you are supposed to be able too, making it extremly hard to hit.

Thanks for your hard work, this plugin is awesome.

There is script for bunny hop but leagues and many server admins dont allow it (VAC dont ban scripts) and also some people have skill to do bunny hop so how are you going to block?
Just block them using script and let skilled hoppers hop around?

Just block - block it. I won't get into details and unless sslice decides otherwise, it's all you are going to get
Obviously the bhop block will be optional, so you can either allow all of it (scripted or not) or disallow it.

That's my understanding of it.

use sv_allow_wait_command 0 in your server config.

Without the wait command many scripts won't work anymore.

To be specific, it does not let the player bunny hop more than 5 times consecutively, and at that point it just stops the next jump. This does affect people who can bunny hop by skill, but I feel that 5 or more consecutive bunny hops is either used for show or to generate a ridiculous amount of speed. Even the "skilled" bunny hoppers have a hard time doing more than 5 consecutive bunny hops, so I don't think this should be a problem.

If anyone thinks this is a bad idea or should be changed, please comment.

I agree, on our servers we don't allow bunny hopping at all. It's basically just a speed hack when you get right down to it. People are getting to places faster than they should be able to. However, not everyone feels the same way as I do. Make it a cvar and people can customize how many they want to allow based on personal taste. Plus, I have read that even a "Pro" bunny hopper can not do more than 5 hops in a row in Counter Strike Source without some sort of hack or script which is cheating. The hopper would have to jump at the exact PERFECT time which is almost humanly impossible let alone be able to do more than 5. If you see someone doing more than 5 hops in a row in Source you can bet they have some help from a program!
