The scanner works by utilising the server rcon and and every few minutes it does an "rcon status" if any steam ids in the status match the database then it announces the ban in "rcon say" and then kick bans the ID for a set period of time.

You can check the Cal-O info on the summer league and you will see that i was on a team and was not banned, so i believe i am allowed to appeal my ban, thank you very much.  Joined: 26/07/05 Activity: | Sounds like a VAC ban - But you can still check here ----> DB Search to see if you're banned by Steambans also. If you're banned by Steambans you can use the link on the right Ban Protest to dispute your ban.
