Unfortunately there is nothing to do if a ban is longer then 6 months, as you simple can't protest after this period.
You have to buy a new account, if you want to play on Steambans protected servers.

It was march 04, at least the demo was submitted then. However, Valve does the same now with bans from VAC2. They made this "error" and unbanned ID's after 2 or 5 years depending on the violation with the result that many of them got caught again.

I'm in the same boat as Behemoth418; yes im banned, but after 6 or 7 years this is still coming back to haunt me in TF2. Could you please reconsider your policy on bans that are nearing a decade in age?
I have a fairly low steamid number and i'd love to keep it, but is it worth it if this ban that happened so long ago is gonna ruin future games for me, even after 6 years?

I agree fully with behemoth: i implore you to reconsider your policies.

idea for you guys, get in touch with valve and see where steam bans stand on their right to ban all games linked to an id if cheats where from a previos game but be warned this may result in a vac ban, also agreed that steam bans should reconsider as this is a new game and not related to the origional ban.

The problem with Valve and VAC is that they ban on the engine. So being banned in CS means your banned in any game running the HL1 engine, same with being banned in CS:S, your banned in all of the HL2 engine.

We overcome that because we ban on every game, that we cover, with no discrepancy between the two engines, that's why we are so popular.

Also @freakish1, Server owners have the right to have anyone removed from their server for any reason. They installed our plugin and are using it to remove you from their server. We have not violated any policy of VAC/STEAM/VALVE.

You have 2 options.

1. Get a new steam account and start buying games on that
2. Dont cheat again...
